What about Other Poly Fencing Products on the Market?

There are many styles of poly fencing out on the market today.  Those include the extruded polypropylene product that we carry which is rounded, UV stabilized and of the highest quality on the market.  You can also find significantly cheaper styles that claim to protect you from deer and other wildlife, but those are essentially loose crush netting products often used to control birds, yet sold for deer control.  Other poly deer fencing products that are found on the market today include a stamped flat deer fence that is extruded in the most rudimentary and basic processes available today.  This style of manufacturer creates a much cheaper, weaker and less expensive output.  Certainly all of these choices are confusing and a challenge so when in doubt get a sample and talk to people who have experienced this product for themselves.

Nimby Deer Fencing choose to use the Tenax name because they are the only manufacturer who make the rounded less intrusive style of poly fencing right here in the USA.  This style of fencing lasts several years longer than the old flat product.  This rounded style of poly deer fencing is also more tear resistant.  The joints of the mesh almost appear welded into place as opposed to punched into itself like the flat product.  You can see for yourself from the pictures below how the rounded fencing appears much more invisible and blends easily into the surroundings.

Nimby Deer Fencing inspected independent studies on the rounded version of poly deer fencing and the flat versions and the rounded came out 20% stronger and with a much longer longevity specification when matched up one by one.  This showed all of us here at Nimby Fencing that the rounded polypropylene deer fencing product has a much higher value, strength, longevity, look and invisibility feature over that of the flat polypropylene deer fencing.
